Daniel J. Dyman, Ed.D. accumulated over thirty years of teaching and research experience in secondary and higher education working with both advantaged and disadvantaged learners.
In addition, he has worked for fifteen years in the operations management of an automotive parts manufacturing company. He has firsthand knowledge of quality control processes that have application in the processes required for the steady improvement of teaching and learning.
His systems for instructional design are founded upon a structure of basic analysis methods that identify and quantify the effectiveness and efficiency of essential teaching applications in the classroom. Design applications rely upon fundamental learning theory, teaching skills and techniques, as well as interactive principles.
Over the years he consulted in the development of evaluation methods and accountability strategies, curriculum development, and teaching presentation skills.
He was awarded a National Science Foundation Grant for his work in instructional systems design that improved learner test scores while covering a greater range of curriculum content and reducing the amount of student time on task.
