Planning

by
Daniel J. Dyman, Ed.D.

Planning needs to be the foremost activity. In life, a definitive path is essential. Purpose needs to be associated with each step. This implies evaluating and sequencing options leading to the arrival at some destination, the attainment of some determined goal. This requires some thoughtfulness perhaps imagination within a timeframe out of necessity.

Planning may be considered a blueprint for success. It involves evaluating options that enable choices by design. Out of intention, the most expeditious route is defined. However, opportunity may lead to alterations and adjustments. Clearly, the course is adjustable still with the precise objective in mind.

For good reason, a goal may be set aside. Nonetheless, the process of planning remains up front as the starting point.

It is imperative to remain steadfast in that resolve. The attaining of significant goals is contingent upon setting the direction and anticipating the intermediate progress points along the journey. This recognition may provide the motivation to continue, to press onward.
